The Initial consult can be done via telephone or if you are local, we can meet in person in a public space. The purpose is to go over what the client’s vision is which includes the size and colors. We can then determine if the project is viable and cost effective to do within the given timeframe and budget. The duration of the project may vary depending on my current workload, season, and availability of desired materials. 

If you're looking to have a Keepsake Quilt, Baby Quilt, Custom Table Runner, Custom Pillow Case, or maybe you're looking for something a bit more simple like a Mug Rug or a set of Coasters made... the world is your Oyster here. You could even have several coordinating items commissioned if you desire.

In the next meeting or conversation, we will review possible patterns, fabric choices, color combinations to determine the project design and set the client’s expectations. We will also iron out the payment schedule and set milestones.

Once all the materials have been acquired, I will cut the fabric into pieces that will make up the pattern. Then I will sew the pieces together into the blocks that will make up the larger pattern. After which I will combine the blocks into the greater arrangement, and add accent boarders if the client so chooses. The following step is to construct the backing and combine all the layers. Finally, I add a coordinating binding to protect the edges of the quilt. With the project completed, I will prewash the quilt to preshrink it and preserve the colors.

We will make arrangements for delivery in person for locals or via other means such as USPS or FedEx. I will also provide instructions for general care for the finished project to help ensure longevity and vibrancy at which time payment is expected.

These are a fun and economical way to bring an accent to a couch or just to add a real splash of color with an interesting design. This is a nice way to enter the custom world without breaking the bank or going too crazy. 

These can be made to the size pillows you currently have and are washable. The picture below is the front (left) and back (right - you can see the envelope but I can always send a better picture upon request).
